Antwonette Hilliard is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience providing care across inpatient, outpatient, forensic, and academic settings. She is dedicated to delivering compassionate, trauma-informed care, ensuring each patient feels heard, respected, and supported throughout their treatment journey.

Antwonette specializes in the treatment of mood disorders, substance use disorders, and complex psychiatric presentations. Her approach includes comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, thoughtful medication management, and supportive care aimed at improving stability, treatment adherence, and overall quality of life.

Her clinical background includes extensive experience in acute inpatient psychiatry, detoxification and substance use treatment, crisis management, and long-term care planning. She has worked with our nation's heroes at the Department of Veterans Affairs in Saint Louis, MO, and Seattle, WA, for over thirteen years and has expanded that experience by leading multimillion-dollar clinical operations on a national level, demonstrating both clinical expertise and executive leadership.

In addition to her clinical work, Antwonette has served as Adjunct Faculty at Saint Louis University, Maryville University, and Washington University in St. Louis since 2016. She is passionate about mentoring future nurses and is committed to advancing safe, compassionate, and evidence-based psychiatric care. She has also contributed to community education through training in Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, medication management, and safe patient care practices.
